About
Flatline Dynamics is an engineering-led design lab building understated, modular hardware. Quiet on the outside. Thoughtful on the inside.
Build equipment that earns its place.
Most hardware fails in predictable ways: weak interfaces, disposable construction, and “features” that don’t survive real use. We design from the failure modes backwards. The goal is simple: modular equipment that lasts, stays discreet, and can be repaired.
- Serviceability
Fasteners over glue. Replaceable wear parts. Designed to be maintained.
- Modularity
Add capability when you need it. Remove it when you don’t. Core stays clean.
- Understated
Sleeper aesthetic. Discreet capability. No costume energy.
- Iteration
Field-led testing. Tight feedback loops. Ship only what we can stand behind.
What we build
We build a small number of systems at a time. Each one is designed to scale with accessories, spare parts, and documentation - not just marketing.
Stealth carry system
A modular 25L daypack designed around repairability, discreet capability, and multi-role use.
Minimal HUD platform
R&D into a helmet-mounted, minimalist heads-up display approach focused on usable information.
Modules + spare parts
Accessories, repair kits, and documentation that make the core products more adaptable over time.
How we work
Start with the real constraints: access, durability, comfort, repair, and the boring failure modes.
Build, test, refine. Keep the loop tight. Don’t over-polish what hasn’t earned it.
Service notes, spare parts thinking, and honest specs. Equipment should come with a paper trail.
We design like you’ll keep this for years. That means replaceable components, sensible construction, and avoiding unnecessary lock-in. When something wears out, the default outcome should be a repair - not a replacement.
Collaboration
We’re open to testing, manufacturing conversations, and sensible partnerships. If you’ve got relevant experience, materials, or a capability we should know about - send it through.
